This syndicated share is a 13th share in Twitchers Nest lodge is fully equipped luxury private lodge in Black Rhino Game Reserve, a part of the PilanesbergGame Reserve. The share allows one the opportunity to visit 4 weeks per annum. The self-catering lodge sleeps 12 people (including the ranger which is on site). It includes a game vehicle and a private guide for game drives into “Big 5”. The lodge consists of a main area with scullery, kitchen,lounge, bar, dining room and guest loo. There are 4 separate chalets with en-suite bathrooms and outside showers sleeping max x10 with 2 having lofts.There are x3 dedicated staff members employed (guide, house-keeper and gardener). There is a hide to have your morning coffee.
The lodge has all the bells and whistles, with WIFI, DSTV, aircons, pool, game drive vehicle, outdoor showers, BOMA, and bar area and ice machine. The lodge is located on 3,000 ha and open to 52,000 ha Pilanesberg, with traversing over both sections. There is a wide variety of game including black and white rhino, elephant, lion, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, roan. Activities at Back Rhino and Pilanesberg include game drives, bush walks picnic spotsin Pilanesberg, bird hides. Black Rhino is a private game reserve, incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park on the North Western side. This lower lying reserve's sweet veld vegetation complements the Pilanesberg's predominantly mixed sour veld. This type of habitat is known to carry a wide variety of game species, and sighting of elephant, black rhino and white rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard are very common.
The Pilanesberg National Park is 55 000 Hectares in extent and borders on the Sun City entertainment complex. The most remarkable feature of this destination is the 1200 million-year old volcano crater with Mankwe Lake in the centre. Because of its positioning between the Kalahari and Lowveld, the vegetation from both areas are located on this terrain.
